Ingredients

360g bread flour

2 tsp instant yeast

1 ¼ (8 g) salt

1 large egg

½ cup (113 g) milk, lukewarm

⅓ cup (74 g) water, lukewarm

3 tbsp (35 g) olive oil

Directions

  1. Combine all of the dough ingredients in a bowl, and mix and knead to make a smooth, very soft dough. The dough should stick a bit to the bottom of the bowl if you're using a stand mixer.

  2. Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover, and let it rise until it's doubled in size, about 45 to 60 minutes.

  3. Shape it however you like then cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, 45 to 60 minutes.

  4. While the loaf is rising, preheat the oven to 350°F.

  5. Bake for 30-45 min.
