Thin Pizza Crust & Sauce

Ingredients
Dough:
2 ½ cups all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
4 tsp olive oil
2 tsp maple syrup/honey
1 cup water
Optional dough spices:
1 tsp basil, oregano, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning
Marinara:
1 (14 oz) can peeled whole San Marzano tomatoes
½ tbsp dried oregano
1 ¼ tbsp olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Dough:
Preheat the oven to 450°F.
In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, baking powder, olive oil, maple syrup, and water until thoroughly combined.
Cover and let rest for 10 min.
Cut dough in half.
Transfer to a piece of parchment paper and shape into a ball and roll it out paper thin on a piece of parchment paper.
Poke all over with a fork, and bake for 5 min.
Remove from the oven.
Marinara:
Hand squeeze the tomatoes and mix in the olive oil, oregano, salt and pepper.
Assembly:
Spread the marinara onto the crust.
Add a thin layer of toppings.
Place into the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
