Hoagie Rolls

Ingredients
3 ½ – 4 cups bread flour
2 tbsp sugar
2 ¼ tsp instant yeast
1 ¼ - 1 ½ cups warm water
1 tsp salt
4 tbsp butter, cubed
Egg wash options:
1 egg or butter
Directions
Add flour, sugar, yeast and water into a stand mixer bowl. Mix.
Add the salt slowly as the dough is forming.
Turn up the speed to low/medium and slowly add butter one tablespoon at a time. Wait for each tablespoon to get incorporated.
Knead until smooth texture and pass window pane test.
Form into a ball, grease a bowl and the ball. Place the ball in the bowl with a wet towel to cover.
Proof for about an hour or until the dough has doubled in size. Poke to see if proof is enough. If the indent quickly fills, let proof for a little longer.
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Cut into 3 equal slices. Deflate the dough, and trifold. Turn perpendicular. Roll up. Roll until a long baguette shape.
Proof for 10 min on baguette pan.
Cut top of bread, and put in the oven for 16-23 minutes.
